COMPARISON OF MICROBIAL HUMIC ACID PRODUCED BY Aspergillus niger X1 AND SOIL HUMIC ACID
نویسندگان
چکیده
A comparison is drawn between fungal humic acid produced by Aspergillus niger X1 and soil humic acid regarding elementary and functional groups analysis. Elementary and functional groups analysis show that unhydrolyzed fungal humic acid contained more H and N per unit weight, more alcoholic OH but lower CO2H and phenolic OH groups than unhydrolyzed soil humic acids. The C and N content of 6(N) HCl hydrolyzed humic acid are higher but the O content lower than the soil humic acids. Acid hydrolysis also increase the content of phenolic groups in fungal humic acid, this is accompanied by a decrease in alcoholic OH groups. There exist a number of similarities in analytical characteristics, especially surface functional groups.

The Earthworm Eisenia fetida Can Help Desalinate a Coastal Saline Soil in Tianjin, North China
A laboratory microcosm experiment was conducted to determine whether the earthworm Eisenia fetida could survive in a saline soil from a field site in North China, and an experiment using response surface methodology was conducted at that field site to quantify the effects of E. fetida and green waste compost (GWC) on the salt content of the soil. The microcosm results showed that E. fetida surv...

The aim of irrigation is to recharge the available water in the soil. Quality of irrigation water is essential for the yield and quality of crops produced, maintenance of soil productivity and protection of the environment. The analysis of irrigation water arises as a need to know the impact of irrigation water on the yield of crops, the effect, and the necessary control measures to rectify the...
متن کاملSNA-60-367 components, new peptide enzyme inhibitors of aromatase: structure of the fatty acid side chain and amino acid sequence by mass spectrometry.
SNA-60-367 components, new peptide enzyme inhibitors of aromatase, were isolated from the culture broth of soil bacterium, Bacillus sp. SNA-60-367. These inhibitors are a family of acylated decapeptides that differ from each other in terms of amino acid composition and the nature of the fatty acid side chain. The structures of the fatty acid moieties were shown to be (3-hydroxy)heptadecanoic ac...

To investigate the effects of two cadmium-tolerant bacteria, Staphylococcus pasteuri (S. pasteuri X1) and Agrobacterium tumefaciens (A. tumefaciens X2), on cadmium uptake by the cadmium hyperaccumulator plant Beta vulgaris var. cicla L., a pot experiment with artificially contaminated soil was conducted. The results demonstrated that both cadmium-tolerant bacteria enhanced the dry weight of Bet...
متن کاملImproving Hydrolysis Characteristics of Xylanases by Site-Directed Mutagenesis in Binding-Site Subsites from Streptomyces L10608
The preparation of oligosaccharides via xylan hydrolysis is an effective way to add value to hemicellulosic material of agricultural waste. The bacterial strain Streptomyces L10608, isolated from soil, contains genes encoding xylanases of glucoside hydrolase family 10/11 (GH10/11), and these have been cloned to catalyze the production of xylooligosaccharide (XOS). To improve the XOS proportion ...
